2. You don't. I can say, the only repeated problems I have ever had with these sets is bad connections on the power supply/sweep board. The STK4277 on the convergence output board, and the occasional vertical output STK on that same board (they are rare). Email me with what the set is doing, and I'll try and help with it. I am not sure even Pioneer has those manuals anymore. I tried to get a service manual for the SD-PXXA3, and A5 (where XX= screen size). I wound up getting a xerox copy from the field service manager. When we moved the shop locations, some dumb-ass tossed my Pioneer manuals in the dumpster, so my older manuals are all gone.
