no picture and audio on my TV?

there is no picture and audio on my TV when i turn-on my TV, but there's a sound thuk from the speaker when i plug-in the supply cord. i tried to open the back of the TV to check if the fuse is ok and it seems to be good. i trace the connection flow from the main supply to the IC with four pins with the sign of + and - on both end pins and i got measured about more than 250 volts. Can you tell me what the possible parts on the board that causing the TV to fail in turning on? Do you know where i find a schematic/block diagram of the whole TV circuit diagram? The model of my TV is TCL dis happened due to unstable power supply

2. <Laughs> TCL eh? I hope that's a British TV company your dad knew about.... Newer companies just don't support TVs as well as TVs that were still around in the 60 and 70's.....Samsung is the 80's exception to that rule.... But TCL certainly is not a USA brand.... Since you have a sound thunk when plugged in the power supply is working, but may have ONE out of 7 voltages missing..... Or the Horiz output is shorted (that's my guess!) In either case, you CAN GET KNOCKED across the room if you're not a qualified TECH....so I recommend getting a diagnostic and paying the fee....Techs are an efficient means of cheap repairs comparing us to guys that "knew somebody that had this problem before and it was this thing here (points to unknown part) ".
