tv repair- I have a 52 in. RCA tv on the back of the tv the atenna port came out and now my tv does not work?
when i press the power button it flashes on and off a few times but never comes on? what do you think is wrong and is it fixable?

- It sounds like you may have shorted out something in the receiver. Can it be fixed? Sure. It's anywhere from a $45 to several hundred dollar job, depending on what's damaged.
- The same thing happened to me today. I have an 8 year old SHARP 27" TV that I just recently replaced with a 52 inch RCA. It worked great until the antenna port came apart when I was moving it to get it ready to sell to a potential buyer. My TV has the same symptom, you turn on, no picture and it sounds like its shutting off. If you have a warranty for the TV, a problem like that should be covered and just take it to someone who is an RCA certified techinican.
- first off, that antenna connector didn't just fall off, it got RIPPED out. it takes a good amount of force to pull one out, its not easy even when you are trying. you must have cracked a circuit board and thats where your problem is
