My Toshiba 65HM167 DLP tv will not power on. I get the yellow LED blinking in groups of 3.?

The tv stopped working after the surge protector was switched off accidentally. 3 blinking yellows is not shown in the manual, nor does Toshiba customer service have any recommendation for. I read elsewhere to unplug it for a few hours, but I left it unplugged for 2 full days and it's still a no go. Any ideas?

1. Possible lamp failure?! How many times does the 3 yellow blinks come in? Set of 8? Because that's a code for lamp failure. If this is the case, you'll need to replace the lamp. If it's not the case, then i'm afraid that a technician is needed to further diagnose the problem! Good luck!
