Schematic Diagram For classifying organic compounds?
Can anybody give me schematic diagrams for classifying organic compounds? I really need it.

- Unfortunately there are literally thousands or even millions of organic compounds, and classifying them all is very complicated. There aren't really any "schematic diagrams" for classifying them. I would suggest finding an introductory organic chemistry book, or maybe even a basic chemistry book. That would describe for you some of the basic categories of organic compounds. Some of these include the following: hydrocarbons - which contain only hydrogen & carbon alcohols - which also contain -OH groups ketones - which contain a double bonded O atom (=O) then more biologically formed compounds such as: carbohydrates - like sugars & starches, fats, and proteins. You also might look up "organic chemistry" on the internet and look at some of those sites. I hope this helps.
