- It's time to call a friend o9ver who knows some thing about that. Certain things in there can shock you>
- No idea without a model number and a schematic in front of me. Please take this TV in for an estimate if it is just a wire out of place it should not cost too much to fix.
- The answer from "Broadcast Engineer" is correct. The power cord needs to be re-connected to the power supply; but without a layout of the chassis you should not try to do this yoursel. Indeed, there are dangerous voltages inside a TV that can kill instantly. A decent technician would be able to recognize where the wire goes, and should be able to do this for you at a very reasonable cost. Make a few calls; a 23" TV is not very heavy. The tech should have you bring it in, and he should be able to fix it while you wait. In the meantime... if you live in the USA.. check out your local Walgreens Drug Store. They have a 5" B&W TV on sale for $15 with a $5 rebate. It won't tune in cable channels, but you can connect an antenna or cable to it and get channels 2-13. If you have a cable box, you can tune the TV to ch 3 and watch all your cable channels.
- A nice clear digital pic on photo bucket would help enormously if you could set it up ! Cheers Pete PS If the set is unplugged from the mains there are NO voltages that could kill you instantly !!!!!!!!!
