PCB layout for this schematic diagram? I'm a high school student and I'm trying to design the PCB layout for my Electronics project. Take a look at this schematic diagram http://www.electronic-circuits-diagrams.com/audioimages/14.gif I don't get what V-, V+, RLO, SIG, RHI, REF OUT, REF ADJ, MODE mean. Why are these labels placed on the legs of the IC? As for the two grounds, what/where am I supposed to connect them to? And what/where am I supposed to connect to the Audio Inputs? I tried to search the web for any circuit diagram and PCB layout for a hand-free microphone that works in AM (amplitude modulation) broadacast band, but I can't find any. Electronic CAD - Schematic Drawing...? I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good circuit diagram drawing. I've tried KiCad, ExpressPCB, EasyPCB and Smartdraw, but they either don't have the features I'm looking for, or I just don't find them easy to use. I've heard some good things about OrCAD, but I was wondering if there was an accepted, industry standard program for electronic CAD? Mostly it will be used for small circuit drawings, but being able to make them presentable is important (for reports etc, something the other software failed at). Any feedback would be appreciated. Have old Sears(Kenmore) gas dryer and need electronic control or schematic? Model # 110.77694100 76941. Ser. # M70904 502. Very old Sears (70s) but uses circuit board instead of mechanical timer. FSK printed on circuit board. We fix electronics here but have run out of luck with this. Simple electronics with one IC, and three transistors that drive three non latching relays that are separate from board. Need part but especially circuit board diagram. IC and transistors are house marked and are hard to guess. Ic is 12 or 14 pin DIP marked AMI in Korea. It even has a neon bulb on the board.

Serial Port to Parralel Port? I want to build a electronic circut to control 8 (or so) LED's. I tried to do it using parralel port, but for some reson it did not work. So now I am trying to do it using serial port. But a serial port only has 2 pins (TxD and RxD) that are easily accessable by the programming language I use. So my question is this: How can I convert one byte of serial data into 8 outputs (as with parralel port)? I have heard of using a UART but I am inexperianced in using them. Could anyone please help me by giving links to a website that could help me or please could you give me a schematic diagram. Thanks in advance, Matt

When I asked the vendor for the capacitors, he asked me, "how much is the voltage? what kind of capacitor do you need?" and i just said, "i don't know". The supply needed is 12V DC and the values of the capacitors are: 0.1uF 47nF 4.7nF 0.47nF 22nF 1nF 33uF I'm sorry but I'm such a noob at this, but I'd really really appreciate it if anyone can help or tell me if there's some sort of formula for this. There have been many times when I take apart something, like a TV for example, and cant find where the power inputs go to replace a pulled out wire. I know there are a LOT of circuit boards out there for every type of electronic but there has to be a place you can go to find out the layout?
